FIRST LOOK: ‘Trance’ Danny Boyle’s New Thriller

The art world crosses paths with organized crime in the new thriller from Oscar winning director Danny Boyle. Art auctioneer Simon (James McAvoy) gets mixed up with Franck (Vincent Cassel) and his criminal gang who are after a lost painting and willing to kill for it. That’s interesting enough, but nothing too crazy and this is Danny Boyle we’re talking about. The twist comes with Rosario Dawson playing a hypnotherapist who must help Simon unlock his memory of the painting before he’s killed or driven insane… whichever comes first.
